Quality Assurance Analyst

Tangent have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organised Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing team. Ideally you will be based in London but we are willing to accept remote applicants given the current climate. You will work as part of a closely-knit team supporting the technical roadmap for the web shop for one of our largest clients.

The role

The shop is a complex, bespoke application with multiple third-party integrations.
You will be responsible for planning, scripting, executing and reporting on quality assurance tests. You will be also be responsible for supporting the UAT process, training clients where required.
From time to time you will help out on other clients where more technical QA is required.

Required skills & experience:

  • Experience testing complex CMS and ecommerce builds.
  • High level understanding of systems architecture in order to be able to triage and diagnose issues.
  • Ability to write test scripts and create data for testing.
  • Ability to test APIs.
  • Experience of working in a fast, agile environment.
  • Exposure to agile and waterfall delivery methods.
  • JIRA, Confluence.

About the individual:

You will be an evangelist for quality assurance internally and with clients, keeping up to date with QA best practice and innovation.
You will have a natural curiosity that helps you resolve issues, combined with a strong technical knowledge and logic to help define the root cause.
You will be a strong communicator, both spoken and written and work well within a team.
